I’ve seen it firsthand. Growing up, I worked alongside my dad in his contracting business. He was great at what he did, but he was always juggling everything. Every time he solved one problem, two more popped up. No matter how hard he worked, it felt like there was never enough time to get ahead.
That experience shaped my career. I started at smaller companies, learning the ins and outs of sales, operations, and customer service. Over time, I advanced into senior leadership roles with major players like Carrier and Johnson Controls, where I got a front-row seat to the systems and strategies the big companies use to grow.
And here’s what I realized: small contractors are stuck playing catch-up because the system is working against them.
